Today is the 4th of May 2009 and a start to my social networking experiment.

I spent the last ten years  in front of a computer screen – building web sites, running web hosting company and doing a lot of troubleshooting for clients. I’ve seen many sites that fail and many sites that succeeded. Overall, I can say, that I’ve learned a lot.

I’ve never been a good fan of social networking sites, but, this is my decision to change and test it out.

This project is an experiment to test the following:

1. Is it possible to make money on the Net, using the publicly available how-to’s?
2. Is it possible to use social networking tools (Facebook, twitter, myspace, linkedin etc) to attract enough traffic to make money mentioned in #1 above a sizable amount?

There are a few rules that I will adopt:

1. No money must be spent on advertizing.
2. All the tools must be publicly available.
3. Feedback from marketing techniques and books reviewed will be posted on this blog.
